A double-double machine, Heffelfinger averaged 17.6 PPG and 12.7 RPG as a Senior and 16.5 PPG and 12.5 RPG as a Junior. Andie also earned Academic All-Ohio honors from the Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association, as a Senior. A 2-time All-Ohio selection in Girls Basketball, Heffelfinger earned MVP honors in the Mid-Buckeye Conference in 2014, following that up with being named MVP of the prestigious Ohio North-South All-Star Game in 2015. On the Softball diamond, Zuercher once again helped lead her team to the state championship game in 1991. She was named to the 1st-team Mohican Area Conference Basketball squad on 3 separate occasions and also was a 3-time 1st-Team Ashland Times-Gazette performer. At the time of her graduation – Amy was 5th in OHSAA history for career assists. In Basketball, Amy was a key member of the 1992 State Runner-Up team, graduating with school records for assists in a season and assists in a career – both records that still stand today. Her team won the State Championship in 1991 and Amy was an All-District and All-Conference selection. Amy was a 4-year letter-winner in Volleyball. It is tough to find a 3-sport athlete from Loudonville High School who accomplished more during their 4 years than Amy Zuercher.
